Encore Corporate Travel has named former Travelport executive Kevin Jacobs as its head of strategy, growth and corporate development, the travel management company announced.
Jacobs most recently was director of network partnerships and distribution at low-cost carrier Avelo Airlines. Prior to that, he spent more than six years at Travelport, including as VP of commercial strategy for Americas agencies, and he also was president and managing director of the U.S. and Asia for STA Travel.
At Encore, Jacobs is responsible for helping to shape global strategies and to drive growth and innovation, according to the Montreal-based TMC.
