Enterprise Enters Latin America, Caribbean Markets

Enterprise Mobility has opened new branches in Chile, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands, the car rental company announced Tuesday.

Enterprise on Tuesday opened for the first time in Chile, and National and Alamo brand branches reopened after exiting during the pandemic, according to the company. The Chile branches are through franchise partner Mediterraneo Automotores. The three brands are available in five locations, with two in Santiago—including Santiago Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport—as well as in Talca, Linares and Antofagasta.

Franchise plans include opening at additional airports in Chile along with adding branches in other major cities, according to Enterprise.

Enterprise, National and Alamo branches opened last month in the U.S. Virgin Islands at the Cyril E. King Airport in St. Thomas, according to Enterprise. The company plans to open additional franchise branches on the other U.S. Virgin Islands of St. Croix and St. John.

The Enterprise brand also opened in December at the Owen Roberts International Airport in Grand Cayman, joining National and Alamo branches that were already operating there.

In addition, the company plans to include a new tri-branded airport location that will service the island of Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands, according to Enterprise.
