Etihad Airways beginning July 2, 2025, will launch flights between Abu Dhabi and Atlanta, the carrier announced Monday. It also will introduce service in 2025 to several other locations in Asia and Africa.
The additional destinations announced Monday include Taipei, Taiwan, beginning Sept. 7; Medan, Indonesia, as of Oct. 2; Phnom Penh, Cambodia, beginning Oct. 3; Krabi on Oct. 9 and Chiang Mai on Nov. 3, both in Thailand; Tunis, Tunisia, beginning Nov. 1; Hanoi, Vietnam, as well as Hong Kong as of Nov. 3; and Algiers, Algeria, beginning Nov. 7. Etihad previously announced new 2025 service to Prague, Warsaw, and Al Alamein in Egypt.
Atlanta flights will be operated with Airbus A350 aircraft. Taipei and Hong Kong will operate with Boeing 787 aircraft. The remaining destinations will be operated with Airbus A321LR aircraft.
