Leather Neo contacted me about seeing if I was interested in reviewing any of their leather products. After browsing their website and facebook page that showed the quality of their backpacks and smaller leather goods like their portfolio binder, travelers’ notebook to scrapbook albums, I was curious about their beautiful selection of leather handbags. Though it was hard to narrow down my choices, I finally decided on a Leather Neo leather tote crossbody handbag for this review.

The reason that I went with the Leather Neo tote crossbody handbag was because of its lovely simplicity, zipper closure, different color for accenting as well as for function. I like the extra secure feeling of wearing a crossbody bag when you are shopping over a shoulder bag or hand held bag. Furthermore, I find crossbody bags are also convenient because you can have your hands free when carrying a lot of packages.
The crossbody handbag that I selected in black pebble leather came with two brown straps, protective metal feet and detailing with a gold top zipper closure measures approximately 12 x 9 x5 inches. It also has one open pocket and one zippered compartment in its lined material interior and is light to carry. The long strap can be adjusted to the size you need for draping it comfortably across your body. Yet, it requires some effort to get the gold snap in place since it was the first time it ever was fastened. For those times when you want to carry this bag in your hand, there is a shorter strap included.
According to the Leather Neo website, all their products are genuine leather. However, this Leather Neo leather handbag feels more leather-like than genuine leather compared to other bags that I own. Of course, I could be mistaken or the amount of leather in this bag is just like a paper thin layer. On a similar note, I also am disappointed that there is no company name inside like other handbags.
