Several features have been implemented by Ever Green to make the Last Ace 140 Swim a cut above the rest, starting with teh line-through design. The swimbait sports an internal harness system that guides the leader line easily through the bait to connect to the custom black nickel plated #2 treble hook. This hook was specifically chosen for the best natural presentation while providing a good hook-up ratio. The line-through design also removes any leverage the fish had when shaking lure, unlike that of a traditional fixed hook swimbait.
These swimbaits are meant to be fished as a “chuck and wind” slow-rolling bait in the upper- and mid- water column, though nail weights can be added into the bait behind the internal harness for fishing along the bottom too. The Last Ace 140 Swim uses a saltless soft plastic formula that is durable but still supple enough for a lifelike action when fished.
