EVs coming to Australia: Launch calendar and what’s right here already

Electric vehicle sales

are spiking in Australia, albeit from a low base, and there’s some real momentum building.

September 2022 saw EVs

hit nearly 8 per cent market share for the first time in a single month, while the federal government has now pledged to create a new

National EV Strategy paper.

Additionally, all states and territories

now offering purchase incentives in various shapes and sizes – for examples, residents in Victoria and NSW can get a $3000 rebate.

While

Tesla is far and away the dominant force, many more EV models are set to arrive in the near future.
