The stagecoach gun is a classic design that pretty much any firearm enthusiast will know from watching Westerns. If you’re looking for something a bit more fun to shoot, or just something that might serve as a nice family heirloom, the new Heritage Manufacturing Badlander combines the simplicity of the classic side-by-side shotgun, with modern coatings for even better durability throughout years of use.

Based on the legendary western side-by-side, the new Badlander features two 18.5-inch barrels with a more modern, corrosion-resistant black oxide coating, while retaining the simplicity and durability of the old-school design. Between the barrels is a sturdy brass bead sight, clearly visible with your cheek nestled on the dark walnut-finished wood stock.

In addition to the 18.5 tandem 12-gauge barrels, the Badlander comes standard with a brass beat front sight, simple-to-use lever break-open action, and an unloaded weight of just 6.5 pounds. The Badlander features an alloy steel frame and barrel, each with a black chrome finish, as well as a classic Turkish Walnut stock that pairs the classic look of wood, with the modern hard-chrome finishes used throughout the rest of the shotgun. Finally, the shotgun features a tang-placed safety making the shotgun safe to operate from horseback if need be!
