The fourth installment of F1’s (Un)serious Race Series took a Mad Max-ian turn this week — but with hovercrafts.

Two teams of two drivers took control of what Red Bull called “unconventional” two-seater hovercrafts for some cruising through the Nevada desert. F1 World Champion Max Verstappen teamed up with Oracle Red Bull Racing teammate Sergio “Checo” Pérez to race against Scuderia AlphaTauri stars Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo.

The competitive spirit among the drivers was palpable, leading to strategic discussions as well as frequent laughter, Red Bull wrote in a news release Thursday.

Maneuvering the 13-foot long, 26.5-horsepower hovercrafts, which offered minimal traction and required expert counter steering, proved to be a challenging endeavor, according to Red Bull. With a top speed of 30 mph (48 kph), the dry desert wind and abundant dust further tested their skills.

So which team won this decidedly unserious race? You’ll race to watch and find out.

After all, who doesn’t love hovercrafts?
