September 2024 Jeep Plug-In Hybrid Recall
The issue is that the high-voltage battery in these Jeep PHEV vehicles may fail internally and lead to a vehicle fire. This can happen when parked, driving, and/or charging. Two alleged injuries have been reported to date.
If you own one of the Jeep models affected by the recall, park the vehicle outside and away from structures and other vehicles. Do not charge the battery, as a charged battery increases the risk of fire.
Jeep 4xe Recall Remedy
