Travel agency First in Service Travel is expanding into the U.K. with a London office opening on July 1, the company announced.
First in Service—which has dedicated divisions for both corporate and entertainment travel as well as events—is “eager to connect with independent travel advisor and agencies who are passionate about delivering top-notch service to their clients” in the U.K., according to Barry Whittaker, managing director of the U.K. division. Whittaker was with Travel Leaders U.K. for more than 15 years, including running Tzell Travel Group’s U.K. operations when it opened its London office in 2008.
The company is particularly focusing on SME corporate travel, entertainment travel and MICE travel in the region, in addition to high-net-worth leisure travel. It provides services to travel advisors including IT, technology, sales accounting, supplier partnerships and commission tracking, according to the company.
Besides London, First in Service has offices in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Madrid, Bogotá and Toronto.
