Floor Beef Stroganoff With Dill and Turmeric Is Simple and Scrumptious

A traditional stroganoff recipe has beef in a sour cream sauce usually with ingredients such as paprika, mustard or Worcestershire sauce along with a base of noodles. However, my verison of stroganoff uses ground beef in a creamy sour cream sauce with dill and turmeric over rotini pasta that work magically together to give this dish a distinctive and delicious twist.

You also won’t believe how easy this dinner recipe is to prepare. The most effort that you’ll exert is peeling and chopping an onion before browning the ground beef first, draining off excess fat and then adding the chopped onion to gently brown along with the beef. Afterwards, there is just stirring in the rest of the ingredients including the cooked rotini pasta in your skillet.

Though you may expect to brown the ground beef in some oil, I like to sprinkle some salt in a hot skillet before I start browning the beef. The meat will release enough of its own drippings to do the task. If the meat is extra lean like grass-fed ground beef from Butcherbox, you can add two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Before I add the chopped onion to fry, I drain some of that excess fat first.

If you’re tired of eating the same entrees and want something different that won’t disappoint you in flavor or ease, then my ground beef stroganoff with dill and turmeric is one that you need to try. Some other easy ground beef dinners that I make are my Tex-Mex hash and pizza burger casseroles are just two other recipes to check out. You also can find many more using my search box.

By the way, I want to share some great deals that can help you make this dish. Butcherbox is having a great sale for first time subscribers to get two free pounds of grass-fed ground beef in every box for the first year of your membership. Trust me on this, I am a #ButcherBoxPartner, but this is only beef I use now that my eyes have been opened to what disgusting additives are incorporated into the diets of cattle and poultry by big farm operations those regular supermarket meats sell.

Pereg Natural Foods that I also use due to their extra fresh quality to their spices and herbs will give you 15% off your order once you use my coupon code BEAUTYCOOKSKISS at checkout. If you never tried their products, you will notice a big difference.
