Former Agiito CEO Parkhouse Takes Management Position at TakeTwo

Travel management company Take2Eton Group has hired former Agiito leader James Parkhouse as its new global CEO, taking the reins from TakeTwo cofounder Chris Thelen, the company announced.

Parkhouse was CEO of U.K.-based Agiito, formerly Capita Travel & Events, for more than 15 years and left the company in 2023, a few months prior to its acquisition by Manchester-based Clarity Business Travel. Parkhouse since has worked as an industry consultant, and at Take2Eton he plans to “work with Chris and the team on taking a unique market proposition to the next level,” he said in a statement.

TakeTwo Travel Solutions launched in the U.K. in 2021, founded by former Corporate Travel Management North America CEO Thelen and former CTM general manager of the U.K. Julie Cope, and expanded into the U.S. a few months later. It acquired the U.K.’s Eton Travel Group in 2022 and earlier this year rebranded itself as Take2Eton Group.

Thelen will remain “heavily involved” with TakeTwo in the role of chairman as he passes CEO duties on to Parkhouse, according to the company. He will focus primarily on strategic client acquisition and customer relationships.

“To drive further growth and success as Take2Eton Group, we needed to bring additional support and leadership to the business,” Thelen said in a statement. “I am excited that James is joining us as CEO to help us achieve that vision. Not only does he have exceptional experience, but he is also a great fit for us in terms of our company culture.”

Cope, who has been serving as TakeTwo’s COO, will continue in that role.
