Ultra-low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines in 2025 will introduce first-class seating as well as new loyalty benefits, the carrier announced Tuesday.
The first-class seats will comprise the first two rows of the aircraft and become available in late 2025. Beginning in early 2025, Elite Gold members and above will receive complimentary seat upgrades, including to the new first-class seats, subject to availability. Platinum and Diamond Elite members beginning in mid-2025 will be able to fly with a companion at no extra cost, according to Frontier.
In addition, in mid-2025. Frontier Miles will be able to be used for more flights, and customers will be able to redeem miles for bundled options, such as baggage, seats and other add-ons, “with transparent pricing across four tailored bundles: Basic, Economy, Premium and Business.”
These changes come after Frontier in February announced a new fare bundle targeted at business travelersand available only through global distribution systems. In March the carrier introduced UpFront Plus seating with a guaranteed empty middle seat. And in May, the carrier removed fees for changes, bags and seat assignments for Economy, Premium and Business bookings.
