Travel management company network GlobalStar Travel Management has partnered with Montreal-based travel management technology provider Magnatech Travel Management Solutions to provide risk management and workflow tools to GlobalStar partners, the companies announced.
Magnatech’s offerings include the SafeToGo duty-of-care system, which features a traveler tracking map and dashboard, and the MTWorkflows tool that automates such workflows as messaging, quality control, PNR validation, auto-ticketing, policy validation and pre-trip approval. Per the agreement with GlobalStar, partners will have preferential rates to the two services and access to Magnatech’s universal portal interface.
The partnership “opens up new avenues for our partners to further extend the duty of care they provide as standard to their clients,” according to GlobalStar executive director of IT and supplier relations Julian Russell.
GlobalStar reports operations in 2,500 locations across 55 countries.
