The U.S. General Services Administration has awarded fiscal year 2025 contracts to nine air carriers for federal government travelers through agency’s City Pair Program, including for the first time Breeze Airways, the agency announced Tuesday.
Breeze will join Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue, Silver Airways, Southwest Airlines and United Airlines in the program. The new fares now are available for travel beginning Oct. 1, 2024.
“For the first time in several years, we are increasing the number of airlines participating in the program, which means we’re opening new markets and creating more competition,” GSA acting federal acquisition service commissioner Tom Howder said in a statement.
