Hawaiian Airlines’ New Distribution Capability content is now available in the Sabre travel marketplace, Sabre announced Wednesday.
There will be no surcharge on Hawaiian NDC bookings through Sabre at the U.S. point of sale, a Sabre spokesperson confirmed to BTN. Sabre and Hawaiian earlier this year settled a breach-of-contract suit brought by Sabre after the airline in 2022 began levying a surcharge on bookings through global distribution systems.
Sabre-connected agents can access Hawaiian’s HA Connect NDC content as well as traditional EDIFACT content in 32 markets, and shop, book and managed those offers through Sabre’s Offer and Order APIs, the Sabre Red 360 agency solution and the company’s GetThere corporate booking tool. The airline “plans to activate additional markets over time.”
