Travel risk management provider Healix has launched a new tool that evaluates employee travel risk based on their profile and itinerary, the company announced.
With the Healix Travel Safe tool, employees receive an assessment via a confidential online questionnaire which then can be analyzed against their proposed itinerary and destination, determining whether they might face heightened risk during their trip. Upon completing the questionnaire, employees get a personalized assessment that includes steps they can take to mitigate risks.
Companies also can monitor assessments for their employees via a report that shows results in a traffic-light format.
The tool provides “a thorough assessment of both the health of the traveler and their end destination,” according to Healix International CEO Charlie Butcher. “It is only with a clear understanding of which employees are more vulnerable and what threats certain locations can pose that a clear plan can be built to ensure the safety of their workforce.”
The tool builds on Healix’s Covid Travel Safe product, launched in 2020, which addressed Covid-related risks, according to Healix.
