Expense management provider Center has appointed former SAP Concur executive Amy Padgett as SVP of travel ecosystem, in charge of both growing the company’s integrated travel and expense solution and developing a direct-booking capture program for the company.
Padgett was with Concur for more than a decade, most recently as VP of travel marketing strategy, and she previously worked specifically with Concur’s TripLink direct capture tool and with the Concur App Center. Her role at the midmarket-focused Center also will include forming strategic partnerships with travel management companies, according to Center.
Besides Concur, Padgett also has had leadership roles at biometrics company Idemia, CWT, AirPlus International and UATP.
Center announced an integrated travel and expense offering built on Spotnana’s infrastructure last October, and both are part of the family of companies connected by the investment and leadership of Concur co-founder Steve Singh. Center also has integrated with Direct Travel, which Singh acquired last month, as a “key pillar” of its new technology stack, the company said.
