A few nitty-gritties: The lightweight, compact silicone bowl is oven, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge safe, and can resist temperatures up to 428ºF or -76ºF. How to make bread in one bowl

Enough about the fussy specs—let’s talk bread. Once you have gathered together your usual basic bread-making ingredients (think flour, yeast, salt, sugar, olive oil, and water), you can get right to work.

In the silicone bowl, start combining your ingredients (activating the yeast before adding it to the dough), and then mix everything together with a spatula—your hands will do the trick for minimal clean up, too.

The genius feature? The bowl folds together and secures with a handle at the top, making it the perfect (covered) container for the dough to rise. Easy one-bowl homemade bread recipe

Yields 1 loaf

Ingredients
3 cups of bread flour
1 Tsp. salt
3 Tsp. fresh yeast
1 cup water
1 Tsp. sugar
1 Tsp. olive oil

1. In the Lékué silicone bread maker, combine the flour and salt.
2. In a separate bowl, combine the fresh yeast and water. Stir until fully dissolved. Then, add the sugar, and stir.
3. In the bread maker bowl, create a small well in the center, and slowly add the yeast mixture. Then, using a silicone spatula (or your hands), gently combine the ingredients together. Next, add the olive oil to the dough, and gently knead with your hands until fully incorporated.
4. Next, close the bread maker bowl by securing the top, and allow for the dough to rise.
5. Once the dough has doubled in size, open the bread maker bowl, and using your hands, gently pull the dough away from the edges toward the center, and shape the dough into an oval-shaped dough ball. Close the bread maker bowl again, and let it rest for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 400ºF.
6. Once the dough has rested, bake it in the oven (with the container closed) for 40 minutes or until golden brown. Carefully remove the bread from the bowl and slice.
