Event booking platform Hubli will add eco-certification program Green Key’s portfolio of 3,700 venues to Hubli’s global booking platform, effective Feb. 28, the companies announced Friday. Venues will be available on Hubli’s platform in March, according to the companies.
Green Key venues obtain and maintain sustainability verifications through “rigorous documentation and frequent audits,” Green Key spokesperson Chiara Cottone said in a statement.
The collaboration will allow Hubli to “rapidly onboard and automatically maintain thousands of sustainable venues” within the platform, Hubli CTO David Hendrick said in a statement.
The news follows Hubli’s addition of a diversity module, announced in November, and the June 2022 launch of Hubli Green, a sustainability module with carbon calculator.
