[ICAST 2024] 2 New Merchandise from Ocean’s Legacy

Ocean’s Legacy, a maker of high-quality tackle that is designed in collaboration with anglers who fish for giants in the harsh conditions of Australia, Christmas Island, and Cocos Keeling Island, has brought out a couple of new products to ICAST 2024. The first is their new 100-size Keeling Pop topwater lure. This new popper is the culmination of a few years of work that started in a 2020 trip to the Cocos Keeling Islands trying to “find the right sound”. Through this testing over the years, this popper has been tested and tuned.

The cup face of the lures has been made to throw as much water as possible while still being efficient. The body shape has been made to stay stable in a rough chop and features a full stainless steel wire construction. Beyond the wire core, the poly shell of the lure has a honeycomb structure for added strength so even the biggest predators can’t crush it. The Keeling Pop is going to be available in 5 sizes and 8 colors, the 100, 120, and 140 size poppers will come prerigged with treble hooks and the 170 and 190 will come unrigged for anglers to choose their favorite hooks.

The other new product that Ocean’s Legacy is bringing in is the HDultra Access Swivels. These are a whole new design of snap swivels that require no opening or closing of them to use. Instead you take the eyelet or split ring of whatever you want attached and twist it around the wire of the new HDultra Access Swivels to attach it on. Using the same concept of a split ring for retention these new access swivels are easy to use and can never be left open on accident. These are all made form high grade Japanese stainless steel and given a high polish black nickel coating with a hardened finish. These are coming in 7 sizes and have a breaking strength starting at 24lbs for the smallest and up to 287lbs for the largest access swivels.
