The beloved remastered Grand Catalina is back and available with the new 580G Gold Mirror lenses. These lenses are a rose base mineral glass lens that has been encapsulated in a gold mirror coating. They have a 14% VLT (visual light transmission), 100% polarization, and of course Costa’s 580 color-enhancing technology. The remastered Grand Catalina frame is based upon the beloved original Grand Catalina originally introduced in the 80s and worn for decades afterward by such angling legends and Costa Pros, Flip Pallot, and the late & great Jose Wejebe. The new frame holds onto the beloved vintage look keeping the aviator shape and removable side shields, but now comes with the modern Patherfinder Feature set. This includes sweat management channels, vented adjustable nose pads, removable side shields (offering two different looks), and seamless full temple hydrolite surfacing.
