Savage Gear has brought out a new topwater lure to ICAST 2024 with the new RevMag Walker. This is a new saltwater topwater hard lure built to be able to survive the demands of anglers chasing after large saltwater species. This new lure features Savage Gear’s new patent-pending reverse magnetic weight transfer system that ensures longer casts but also maintains perfect balance in the water for optimum walking action. The initial shock of the cast moves the weight backward along the guide wire during the cast and then when the internal magnet kicks in the weight clicks to the front of the lure ensuring the lure lands flat and smooth on the water. This action keeps the hooks of the RevMag Walker from fouling on impact.
“The RevMag Walker represents our commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology and design to provide anglers with the tools they need to make every cast count,” said Adam Ott, Savage Gear Brand Manager. This new design ensures the lure hits the water skinny, allowing it to start working immediately. Sometimes you only get one cast to land a trophy.”
The RevMag Walker is designed to excel in all inshore and nearshore saltwater fishing situations, delivering a wide side-to-side walking action. This walk mimics a dying fish and can trigger absolutely explosive bites from large predator species cruising under the surface. Each lure comes equipped with robust and corrosion-resistant ultra-sharp hooks, to stand up to the salt and large saltwater species. The RevMag Walker will be available in two sizes, 95 and 120, and come in 10 colors. MSRP will be $14.99 for each lure and they will be available this September.
