InteleTravel Provides Former Rocketrip Exec to Head Corp. Technique

Host travel agency InteleTravel has hired former Rocketrip president Kim Andreello to lead corporate strategy for both InteleTravel and global corporate travel alliance Hickory Global Partners, the company announced.

Andreello has been named VP of corporate development and strategy for InteleTravel and Hickory, working to create strategic plans for the brands, including potential acquisitions and alliances. He is working with both InteleTravel CEO James Ferrara and Hickory president Chris Dane.

Andreello, who has already been in the role for several months, most recently had the same role at travel technology consortium Mondee, and he previously was president of corporate travel and incentive program Rocketrip, which Mondee acquired in 2020. He also cofounded both booking technology and services provider Avia Travel Services and group travel app 40hammocks. In a statement, Ferrara said Andreello “is a ‘builder’ who joins us at a critical time of geographic expansion and vertical and horizontal integration across InteleTravel and our subsidiaries.”

InteleTravel acquired Hickory in 2023 and last year acquired global events agency McVeigh Global Meetings & Events.

Hickory also announced that it in recent weeks has hired Patrick O’Brien as director of global sales and account development. He previously has had executive roles with several airlines, including TWA, US Airways, American Airlines and Qatar Airways.
