JetBlue providing $44 flight sale in the present day as a part of a weeklong ‘birthday sale’

JetBlue is back with a weeklong sale celebrating its 23rd birthday and the airline is kicking the week off strong with one-way flights from just $44 across the JetBlue network.

We’ll keep this post updated throughout the week with new deals, but you can view the entire week of sales online. But for today, here is more on today’s $44+ flight sale.

Deal basics

JETBLUE.COM

Airline: JetBlue Airways.
How to book:
Directly with the airline.
Travel dates: March 1-April 26, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only.
Book by: Feb. 6 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

The lowest fares that ring in at $44 are Blue Basic fares, which charge extra for seat selection and baggage. You can pay at least $100 to change these fares, depending on the route. For Blue, Blue Basic and Blue Extra fares, your first checked bag is $35 and the second checked bag is $45.

Blue Basic fares do not include a full-size carry-on bag, and any carry-on bag beyond the personal item brought to the gate will need to be checked and incur a fee. However, those with JetBlue elite status on a Blue Basic fare do still get a free carry-on and those with a JetBlue credit card get a free checked item on that fare.
