Justworks Add Expense Administration Function


Small business administration technology provider Justworks has added an expense management tool for its Professional Employer Organization customers, the company announced.

The tool lets employees create and file expenses within the Justworks mobile app, including photos of receipts, and administrators can set up customized rules or approval workflows for expense management. Justworks said more than half of its PEO customers were managing expenses via email and spreadsheets prior to the expense tool’s launch. Among beta users of the tool, travel was the top category of expense submissions, followed by meals and entertainment, according to Justworks.

The company is making the tool available both to users of its Basic and Plus plans, and use is limited to W-2 employees.
