KLM to Add Three New Int’l Locations


KLM beginning in 2025 will add services between Amsterdam and three international destinations, including San Diego, the carrier announced Tuesday. 

From May 8, KLM will launch service between Amsterdam and San Diego. Flights will operate three times weekly using Boeing 787-9 aircraft configured with 30 business-class seats, 21 in premium comfort and 224 in economy. This route will be KLM’s 22nd “direct connection” between Amsterdam and North America, according to the carrier.

KLM beginning June 4 will operate flights two times weekly between Amsterdam and Georgetown, Guyana. Flights from Amsterdam will stop in St. Maarten before proceeding to Guyana. Return service will be direct from Georgetown to Amsterdam, according to the carrier. Flights will use Airbus A330-200 aircraft with 18 business-class seats and 246 in economy. 

Beginning Sept. 2, KLM will operate flights three times weekly between Amsterdam and Hyderabad, India. The flights will use Boeing 777-200ER aircraft configured with 35 business-class seats, 24 in premium comfort and 229 in economy. This route will be the fourth between Amsterdam and India, according to the carrier.
