Corporate travel distributor Kyte will provide low-cost
carrier content to travel aggregator and distributor TPConnects via a new
agreement between the two companies, they announced.
Per the agreement, TPConnects will access content through
Kyte’s LCC API, which will let TPConnects sell airfares and ancillaries from
LCCs alongside its New Distribution Capability offering. The content includes
fares from EasyJet and Ryanair, which announced
a partnership with Kyte earlier this year.
“Known for its travel retail technology solutions,
TPConnects will now be able to provide LCC content as a complementary
offering,” Kyte co-founder and CEO Alice Ferrari said in a statement.
“Our API will provide TPConnects with access to a variety of low-cost
airlines, offering greater choice and value to their clients.”
The agreement also means Flight Centre Travel Group, which
is TPConnects’
majority shareholder, will have access to Ryanair content via the solution.
