Los Angeles-based alt-pop singer/songwriter Michael Dean has just unleashed his latest emotive single and music video “Girl Next Door”, which marks the continuity for the artist following his last single “Rollercoaster”.
“Girl Next Door”, tells the sweet story of a guy who falls in love with a special lady who -through his eyes- looks like a model, especially because of his undying admiration and affection for her. Sound-wise, the song presents us with echoing vocals over infectious beats and slow-burn guitar riffs. “Girl Next Door” is a seductive and cinematic song meant for a creative mind yearning for some romantic escapism.
In the accompanying cinematic visuals, Michael Dean is seen patiently but insistently trying to get noticed by the titular girl next door, demonstrating his interest with sweet looks and affectionate gestures.
Born in Albuquerque – New Mexico, and raised in California, Dean Michael Martínez is ready for the spotlight and building up anticipation for the upcoming release of his debut Pop Album ‘Top Gun’ in early 2023
He developed his love for music at a very young age while listening to hip-hop legends like 2pac, Nas, Eminem, and 50 Cent. Soon, he was signed as a hip-hop artist to Money Hogg Gang Under Compton Menace in late 2018, turning into a new diverse force emerging with power.
Previous singles like ‘Rollercoaster’, ‘Impossible’, or ‘Oilfield Trash’, show that Dean’s career is flourishing by leaps and bounds. Currently, he is working under the Boss Republic Records umbrella with Kavon Jacobs. Meanwhile, he keeps offering his music to the world and singing to the love that is -ultimately- the engine that moves the universe.
