As of November 30, recent ski movie “Lexicon” has premiered in Whistler, British Columbia. The film was directed and produced by Austin Hopkins, and filmed in and around Hokkaido, Japan.
All you really need to know about Hokkaido? It’s a special place … with tons of snow. All you need to know about this film? You’ll definitely get the itch to go find some powder stashes after watching.
The film is sponsored by Arc’teryx, and was one of nine films included in Arc’teryx’s lineup for its No Wasted Days Global Film Tour, which aims to share “uncommon journeys in the mountains” through film.
The cast includes Tom Peiffer, Loic Isliker, Maude Besse, Stinius Skjotskift, and Edgar Cheylus — athletes from all over Europe and Canada who descend in Japan to connect with other skiers, and embrace all the snow and wonder that Hokkaido has to offer.
