Alternative airline distribution technology provider Accelya
has announced changes across its leadership team. The company has moved Gianni Cataldo
from chief technology officer to chief product officer. Tye Radcliffe now is
Accelya’s chief customer success officer, promoted from his previous role as
SVP product strategy, order group. Additionally, Alastair Pooley joined the company
in August in the new role of chief information officer.
Accelya in the past 18 months inked a multiyear deal with
American Airlines and began serving New Distribution Capability content for
Oman Air, Korean Air and Westjet. The company named former Sabre CEO Sam Gilliland
its CEO in 2022.
Gilliland said the momentum with NDC and airline retailing
is driving the organizational changes.
“These are exciting times for both Accelya and the
broader airline industry,” he said. “As we work with our airline partners to
deliver a new era in airline retailing, these appointments reflect the depth of
technology and customer expertise we have to support the industry on its
modernization journey.”
