Local EV market Togg is now knocking on its home Top 10’s door.
Yet another record for the Turkish new light vehicle market with sales up 55.4% year-on-year in October to 101,367, eclipsing the previous record of 94,733 units in October 2020. With every month a new record so far this year, the YTD tally is now up 63.7% to a new all-time high 958,942 units over the first 10 months of the year. Fiat (+21.3%) severely trails the market but stays on top at 15.8% share. Renault (+97.7%) is catching up fast in 2nd place with 13.4% share vs. 10.7% so far this year. Toyota (+181%) shoots up eight spots on last month to #3 vs. #9 year-to-date, with Volkswagen (+6.7%) and Ford (-32.6%) both struggling below. In contrast Citroen (+192.8%), Peugeot (+158.6%) and Opel (+144.9%) sports stunning gains in the remainder of the Top 10.
