The avalanche rescue dogs of Jackson Hole are the latest focus of “Mountain Towners,” a nifty little documentary series from Teton Gravity Research and Mammut. Episode 2 of the series takes viewers behind the scenes of the patrol dog team at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
Rescue worker Pete Linn shares the training process to get these dogs ready to find people buried after an avalanche. If you love either dogs or skiing or both, you don’t want to miss this one.
“It gets to be your family,” Linn says in the vid. “It’s a tight bond and we have a lot of fun.”
