Testing the Performance: A User’s Experience Using Sweet Leilani Cosmetics
The first of those foundations that I was curious to experiment with was their Bare It at the Beach Purely Tinted Moisturizer and CC Cream ($33.98). This product has a water-base while it nourishes the skin with vitamins, sesame seed oil, jojoba seed oil, grape seed oil, and green tea to induce collagen production along with other skin healing ingredients and plant-tinted minerals.
This line consists of four shades and I was custom-matched with Naked, which was the perfect choice for my fair to light warm complexion. This tinted moisturizer is lightweight on the skin and needs very little to do your face. It provides wonderful natural coverage without weighing the skin down or giving the face that mask-like appearance. I consider this more of a medium than light coverage to even out skin tone. I even used it under my eyes as a concealer for hiding darkness.
Next, I tried Sweet Leilani Beach Vibes Skin Care Cover Foundation ($30.98). This product comes in a creamy solid for camouflaging more such as acne or problems areas such as dark under eye circles that comes in five shades. The one best suited for me was Sunrise, the second lightest of their colors. It is shown in the above photo,
Fortunately, I don’t need heavy coverage with the condition of my skin, but always have allergic shiners from under eye darkness to deal with. Therefore, I used my concealer brush and applied this natural cover foundation with its anti-inflammatory ingredients to work on that eye area. It spreads well without tugging that thin skin and concealed like a champ when I finished. Later, it stayed put and even helped some puffiness without ending up in the fine lines near my eyes, which is important.
The Island Goddess Pre-Prime and Powder foundation ($32.98) is available in six shades besides Ocean Surf, the color selected for me. This is a liquid foundation with green tea, rose hips, grape seed, and antioxidants that reflect light from its minerals as this liquid formula dries to a matte airbrush finish.
Just like their tinted moisturizer, this is one product that you need very little of this skin treatment foundation compared to other foundations that I used for coverage. This was beautiful, full coverage clean makeup that still felt lightweight and stayed true through the hours I wore it.
Even though I don’t have skin problems, I was so impressed with Sweet Leilani Cosmetics and their line of vegan makeup that can heal and conceal while perfecting that I became an affiliate.
