A couple weeks ago when I was away in Lake Como, I shared my updated skincare routine and getting tons of requests for a blog post about it. So here we are. My routine does change a lot. For this post, I was traveling, and I’m constantly trying new things for you. But this is the latest.
Just gonna lay it all out nice and easy for you. As always.
MY UPDATED SKINCARE ROUTINE:
+ On a totally clean face, I use Agent Nateur cleansing face oil with a little face scrubber (I recommend using whatever side is most gentle.) This makes my skin feel bright and tight. HOT TIP: I always wash my face with cold water.
+ ALWAYS pat your skin dry. Try not to rub. Just a gentle pat with a clean towel, or my favorite, baby washcloths. Don’t use the same towel that your husband used on his balls, ok?
+ ICE ROLL. The Skinny Confidential ice roller is the holy grail for me. It’s a must in my routine. My preference is to do it before I apply skincare but you can use it whenever you want.
+ Next I apply Skinceuticals CE Ferulic. Again, pat this on. Think of Shmee from Peter Pan when he pats Captain Hook’s face after he shaves him. Really take it down your neck to your chest, too. Also, I rub any extra skincare on the back of my hands. Why not, right?
+ Next, I lock everything in with Skinceuticals Hydrating B5 gel. Full of vitamins and nutrients, my skin eats it up.
+ Hyperpigmentation is an issue for me, so Skinceuticals Discolouration Defence works like a charm.
+ Skinceuticals Photo A+ Brightening Treatment is next and it feels so good. It’s so lightweight but so hydrating. Very good for sensitive skin and I try to just gently pat it in and use my ring finger around my eyes. It’s oil free and doesn’t cause milia. It honestly creates such a good canvas for your makeup.
+ Agent Nateur Ageless face serum is magic. I need to order more, that’s how much I love it. This is filled with vitamins, antioxidants and nutrients that make your skin feel so soft and healthy. Highly recommend. It reduces appearance of redness, fine lines and wrinkles, age spots and scarring.
+ Of course the PINK BALLS face massager feels so good, but it also helps lock everything in. I like to use it after the serum.
+ Epicuren Colostrum cream on the face seals in all the goodness. Yes you read that right. LOL. More here on colostrum moisturizer.
+ Dr. Dennis Gross plumping lip treatment is the best one I’ve found. It actually works and is super hydrating, plus it enhances your natural lip color.
+ Lastly, a castor oil on my brows really helps polish off the look. Always brush up.
+ Finally, always remember to apply your favorite SPF. Some of TSC’s favourites can be found here.
Et voilá. There you have it. Oh yes, I’ve also been using Vegamour Pro serum on my hair and loving it so far. Have you added anything new to your routine this summer? Is your skincare different when you travel? Let me know below.
x, lauryn
