Navan has added New Distribution Capability content from 10 European airlines, the travel management company announced Thursday. Those include Air Dolomiti, Air France, Austrian Airlines, British Airways, Brussels Airlines, Discover Airlines, Finnair, KLM, Lufthansa and Swiss.
The company, formerly known as TripActions, sources inventory through multiple global distribution systems, aggregators and direct connections. It said its data showed that across the U.K. and Europe, the potential savings from adopting NDC can reach up to 12 percent depending on the airline with a combination of avoiding GDS surcharges and “price gaps with EDIFACT channels, with [NDC] fares up to 35 percent lower than traditional GDS offerings.”
