With spring and summer fast approaching, it can only mean one thing: the rafting season is upon us.

In hopes of reaching the masses who aren’t yet equipped with gear, Alpacka Rafts are now offering “Ready to Ship” packrafts for the very first time in 20-plus years.

For reference, Alpacka Rafts are made-to-order river vessels. They offer customization from colors to deck and seat configurations. That typically means customers will wait up to four weeks for order processing and delivery. But, Alpacka “doesn’t want anyone to miss out on that last-minute river trip.”

That’s why the brand has started its “Ready to Ship” program. Instead of waiting several weeks, you can now get Alpacka’s most popular models, like the Mule and Scout, in just two days (free shipping included).

Basically, Alpacka is offering Amazon Prime-level shipping … specifically for packraft enthusiasts.

The free two-day shipping applies to the Expedition (one of our personal faves), Mule, Caribou, Refuge, Whitewater Refuge, Scout, and Forager rafts. The “Ready to Ship” rafts include heavier expedition models, whitewater-specific models, and a lightweight model for canyoneering or river rafting. It also includes Alpacka’s “bikeraft,” the Caribou. Prices range from $775-2,225.

Sadly you can’t get custom-made rafts through the program. But there are a couple of color options and configurations to choose from.

Anyone in the continental U.S. (including Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska) qualifies for the free two-day shipping.

If you are reading this now, it’s a great reminder to get on the stick with your spring river trip planning. Though, with Alpacka Rafts’ “Ready to Ship” program, even if you wait ’til later, you can probably still get a raft in time.
