Daiwa has brought out the new Qunai Spoon, another casting spoon, but don’t lump it together with the myriad of casting spoons already on the market. The Qunai spoon is built different, originally developed as a trout lure. This sleek spoon offers anglers superior performance when used for Bait Finesse (BF) techniques targeting largemouth, spotted, and smallmouth bass. It will even fool some larger specimens of crappie and perch with its fine-tuned swimming action.
The Qunai spoon was engineered in Japan with a deep-cupped design to develop a special wobble action as it is worked through the water. When brought back in on a steady retrieve this spoon looks like a baitfish carelessly swimming through the water column.

The Qunai Spoon comes equipped with a premium #4 single-barbed hook and sports a split ring on the nose for easier tying and better action. The single J-hook is easier on the fish’s mouths and makes dehooking easier as well. A lot of effort was put into the spoon’s design to make it a great casting lure even with its modest size. Balanced dimensions along with moderate spoon thickness promotes longer casting distance and better accuracy. The Qunai Spoon comes in three sizes and four patterns, it has an MSRP of $7.99 per spoon.
