As they always do, 5.11 Tactical released a boatload of new products for 2023 at SHOT Show. While they span across all aspects of outdoor gear, these are the new load bearing products for this year.
5.11 Tactical Coverage on AllOutdoor
5.11 Tactical, the global innovator of purpose-built apparel, footwear, and gear, will unveil new products for 2023 exclusively this week in Las Vegas, Nev. at the Venetian Convention Center during the SHOT (Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor, Tactical) Trade Show in Booth #10334. Multiple product categories, including men’s and women’s apparel, load-bearing gear, footwear, and accessories, will be expanded to offer customers an extensive lineup of items for everyday use, outdoor adventure, fitness training, on-duty hours and more.
Skyweight 24L and 36L Load Bearing Packs
Both the 24L and the 36L versions are made of 330-denier nylon. The MOLLE hip belt includes lumbar support and is removable. Shoulder harnesses and back panels are also cushioned for comfort. They offer plenty of water options with hydration sleeves and water bottle pockets. This includes keeping water out with built-in rain covers.
Skyweight Utility and Survival Chest Pack
The new chest packs from 5.11 include the ability to pull double-duty as waist packs. They also feature concealed carry compartments with hot pulls for easy access. There are organizational pockets in the main and front compartments. These are also made from 330-denier nylon.
QR Plate Carrier
The QR Plate Carrier uses 5.11’s TAC-LAM laminate laser-cut MOLLE for attaching pouches and accessories. It uses Sierra Bravo Slide buckles, which can quick-release in an emergency. The shoulder straps, cummerbund, and plate retention straps are made from low-profile Hypalon and there’s padding where you need it.
28″ Single Rifle Case
The rifle case is made from 600D polyester and is fully padded to protect your gear. The external MOLLE is Gear Set compatible and the inside features muzzle and stock padding, as well as retention straps.
MOLLE Packable Backpack And Sling Pack
Both versions of the packable packs can be compressed and stowed into their own integrated pockets. Once packed, they can be integrated with MOLLE systems for ease of carry. They’re made from 70D nylon ripstop.
PT-R Gym Backpack
The main compartment uses a clamshell opening, while a separate, ventilated pocket is included for dirty clothes and shoes. The compression straps are removable and can be attached vertically or horizontally. The laptop compartment is padded, as are the straps and back panel.
