TINCUP Whiskey has been an iconic brand ever since their inception in the liquor industry because of their generosity towards preserving nature – primarily the picturesque summits and views of Colorado – as well as being known for hailing from the pristine mountain water that Colorado mountains can offer. Both of which are on full display with the announcement of their 3rd iteration in the TINCUP Fourteener Bourbon series.

Like many previous projects in TINCUP’s history, the TINCUP Fourteener Release No. 3 will donate a portion of proceeds to the Colorado Fourteener Initiative (CFI), which aims to protect and preserve Colorado’s 14,000-foot peaks through active stewardship and public education. TINCUP goes on to further explain this 3rd release of bourbon in their press release statement below:
TINCUP – 10/02/2024 – Today, TINCUP Whiskey – best known for being the outdoor mountain whiskey – announced the release of its third iteration of Fourteener Bourbon, the brand’s oldest liquid. Aiming to celebrate the highest peaks within its home state of Colorado, the bottle features limited-edition packaging adorned with the fourteener it’s named after.
This year, that mountain is Mt. Sneffels – the highest summit of the Sneffels Range in the Rocky Mountains of North America. Famous for being one of the most photographed mountains in all of Colorado, its 14,147-foot peak is the signature on the bottle’s commemorative packaging.
Ideally for whiskey lovers that love the outdoors – or simply anyone that loves to collect commemorative-package bottles — TINCUP’s Fourteener Release No. 3 is perfect as we head into fall camping season, après-ski moments (“after skiing” moments), and holiday gifting occasions. The bottle is available now for pre-order for $69.99 and rolling out in select retailers nationwide this month.
Understanding that your purchase is going to go towards the Colorado Fourteener Initiative (CFI), the $69.99 MSRP sounds very reasonable for the TINCUP Fourteener Bourbon. As always, let us know all of your thoughts about TINCUP and their new 3rd iteration of the Fourteener Bourbon celebrating Mt. Sneffels in the Comments below! We always appreciate your feedback.
