The VW Taos is inside the Argentinean Top 10 in November.
New light vehicle sales in Argentina advance 6.7% year-on-year in November to 33,716. This brings the year-to-date tally up 12.3% to 407,265. Brand leader Toyota (-6.1%) goes against the positive market but scores a strong 23.5% share vs. 21.9% so far this year. On the other hand Volkswagen (+47.7%) soars up to 17.2% share vs. 13.1% year-to-date. Renault (+1.5%) and Fiat (+0.3%) post more muted gains while Ford (+31.4%) is in great shape at #5. Nissan (+53.1%) and Mercedes (+44.6%) also shine in the remainder of the Top 10.
Over in the models ranking, the Fiat Cronos (+13.3%) stays on top with 9.1% of the market. The VW Amarok (+52.5%) and Toyota Hilux (+7.1%) both advance one spot on October to #2 and #3 respectively. The Ford Ranger (+48.7%) makes its three pickup trucks in the Top 4 while the Peugeot 208 (-9%) falls to #5 but maintains itself at #2 in the year-to-date order. The VW Taos (+36.7%) and Toyota Corolla (+14.2%) also impress among the Top 10 models. Below, the VW T-Cross (+809.3%), Ford Territory (+164.9%) and Chevrolet Tracker (+108.7%) stand out.
