Norse Atlantic deal: Fly to Europe for as little as $129 one-way

Throughout January, airlines have repeatedly slashed fares to Europe, and those deals aren’t going away — just yet. Norse Atlantic is offering discounted one-way flights to some of Europe’s most popular tourist destinations.

With this deal, you can fly to London, Paris, Berlin and Oslo, Norway, from Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles and New York.

The travel dates largely depend on the route and you must book your flight by Feb. 1. Availability for certain routes and dates is also limited, so we recommend booking this deal as soon as possible.

Sample flights

If you live in Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles or New York, this deal offers a lot of flexibility for planning a trip to some of Europe’s most popular tourist destinations, considering the wide range of travel dates.

Here are some standout Norse Atlantic flights (note that they are all one-way flights):

  • John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Oslo Airport (OSL), starting at $129.
  • JFK to London Gatwick Airport (LGW), starting at $129.
  • JFK to Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), starting at $149.
  • Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) to OSL, starting at $149.
  • FLL to Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), starting at $149.
  • Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to OSL, starting at $179.

These one-way fares to Europe are significantly marked down. However, it’s a bit more difficult to find cheap round-trip flights with this Norse Atlantic deal, especially for destinations like London and Paris. Finding the best round-trip deals is a matter of playing around with the dates on Norse Atlantic’s fare calendar.

One of the cheapest round-trip fares we found was from JFK to OSL at $277. Finding a cheap one-way flight was easy; Norse Atlantic had a number of days in March and April where fares started at $129.

However, the returning flights to JFK were more of a challenge as those fares tended to be significantly more expensive. We still were able to find a $150 fare for a returning flight to JFK on April 29.

These fares are for Norse Atlantic’s Economy Light fare, which does not come with a lot of perks. Passengers booking Economy Light fares only get a personal item and can make changes to their ticket with a fee.

The fare does not include carry-ons or checked baggage, so you’ll pay extra if you plan to bring more luggage. Carry-ons cost an extra $45 (one-way) while a standard checked bag will cost $70 one-way.

Bottom line

Flying to Europe from the U.S. can be an expensive endeavor, and this Norse Atlantic deal allows you to visit Europe at a discount.

Finding a good deal on a returning flight can be difficult. However, the prices are still worth it if you can find dates that work for you.
