Barrett Firearms has announced the revival of the REC7 DI carbines at NRAAM 2024. Barrett Firearms, already world-renowned for quality, precision, and reliability, has brought out another top-notch product. Designed for use where hard use where there is no room for error, the carbine features a mid-length gas system for reliability with or without a suppressor. However, it should be noted that Barrett recommends users use flow-through suppressors to not significantly increase the action speed on all of the REC line of products. The upper and lower receiver of the REC7 DI is precision machined from 7075-T6 aluminum. All aluminum parts of the rifle also come coated with a Type 3 hardcoat anodizing for added durability and toughness. The barrel is cold-hammer forged and chrome lined with a 1:7 twist rate.
Additionally, the rifle comes equipped with an extended slimline Barrett M-LOK handguard, Magpul furniture, a three-pronged flash hider, and a quality ALG QMS trigger. The REC7 will be available in 5.56×45 NATO, with each and every one of these rifles being hand-built one at a time. Then inspected and tested to make sure that every rifle that goes through Barrett’s doors will deliver the performance and quality you have come to expect from the Barrett Firearm name over the years.
