There is no shortage of 2011s continuing to enter the market, yet not many of them really stand apart from each other. Fusion Firearms aims to do so with their newly announced 20X11. A double-stack Glock magazine compatible 1911 variant with some excellent out-of-the-box features, including match trigger, optics ready, flared mag well, and high-end finishes, all for a comparatively low asking price.
[NRAAM 2024] Fusion Firearms 20X11
The 20X11 is a groundbreaking collaboration between Fusion Firearms and Ermox. This innovative double-stack 1911 variant is designed to use Glock magazines. This Partnership is a testament to the synergy between these two firearm manufacturers, setting a new benchmark in the industry for innocation and design.
Available in two finishes, tennifer and QPQ or tennifer and chrome. I was told by the rep that tennifer is absorbed into the material, creating a very durable and long-lasting protective finish, and then the chrome finish is applied. The model on display was the tennifer and QPQ model, and considering that the model shown is an early preproduction one, it looked quite good. All models are optics ready with an RMR footprint, they will ship in a hard case, and include two magazines. All for an asking price of $1099 for the black model and $1199 for chrome.

Fusion Firearms is expecting the 20X11 to be available Q3 of this year, I am interested to see the finished product as this preproduction model handled well in the hand with nice ergonomics and an excellent trigger.
A good bit of thought was put into the design of the 20X11, especially with parts compatibility. Most internals are 1911, shares optics plates with the Springfield Prodigy, and has been tested with aftermarket Glock magazines. Additional grips are planned and will be released following the initial release of the 20X11.
