At last year’s NRAAM the guys over at Kimber brought out a new double-stack 1911, the KDS9c. A built-from-the-ground-up compact carry double stack 1911. For this year’s NRAAM Kimber has brought out a new version of it after listening to consumer feedback on it for the past year, the KDS9c (TFS) a new version of the original KDS9c that is suppressor ready with some additional upgrades to the pistol for an even better-suppressed shooting experience.

Kimber is still sticking with its proprietary bore sizing process to deliver match-grade accuracy but now the barrel is threaded as well, coming with a thread protector installed. The trigger has been reworked on this pistol as well, now sporting a skeletonized flat-face trigger. Lastly, the optics plate design has also been changed to support accepting a variety of dovetail rear sights. Besides those bigger changes expect it to be similar in other regards to the original KDS9c in handling and how it will ship out.
