Trijicon needs no introduction when it comes to optics, but many shooters are still unaware that they have been in the thermal weapon sight market for some time. I was able to check out the previous generation REAP-IR a couple of years ago, and I was blown away at the capability it gave in low light situations. Trijicon has now released a complete update to their REAP-IR and IR-HUNTER series of thermal weapon sights, bringing modern updates and features.
[NRAAM 2024] Trijicon REAP-IR Refresh
Trijicon’s advanced, USA made, thermal imaging riflescopes are trusted by the most demanding shooters to get the job done with accuracy and speed no matter what. Day or night. Choose from thermal imaging monoculars, helmet sights, weapon sights and clip-on sights. Conquer darkness with Trijicon®.
REAP-IR is the name of Trijicon’s combat proven line of thermal weapon sights. These are robust optics with impressive features. This new redesign includes three models in various default magnifications.
The REAP-IR® thermal riflescope is a small, rugged, and powerful thermal riflescope that lets you engage targets in any light. The heart of the system is a state-of-the art 640×480, 12 micron thermal image sensor that provides superior image quality in any lighting condition. Redesigned electronic hardware and a new digital thumbstick improve system response and enable the use of external USB power sources and digital video recorders. It’s also built to last – in the USA.
