Sleep Well

If you do not sleep for eight hours every day, then your body will not be able to tolerate stress very well. Screens emit blue light which helps to stimulate your brain, so if you are having a hard time winding down then this could well be the reason why. If you want to do something about this, then make a regular sleep schedule and also keep your room both dark and cool. Try and avoid computers, cell phones and tablets where possible, before you go to bed. If you can do this then you will soon find that it is easier for you to feel those negative thoughts, melt away.

Get a Hobby

If you do not have a hobby yet, then now is the time for you to think about taking one up. When you take up a hobby, you will soon find that you can devote your mental energy to something more positive and this can work in your favour. You may want to try and learn guitar, or you may want to try your hand at crochet. Either way, little things like this can help you to be much more positive and they give you the chance to be creative as well. You will get a boost when you feel yourself f succeeding and progressing, and sometimes this is the best way for you to channel your energy and experience less stress in your life overall.
