Recently launched travel management company Solutions Travel has hired two new VPs for sales development: former American Express Global Business Travel executive director of business development Jenn Smukler and Tom Aichele, who worked in American Airlines’ Central Division as managing director and VP of sales. Solutions CEO Mark Walton launched the TMC earlier this year, building it on Spotnana’s integrated travel-as-a-service technology stack with added TMC services. Walton said Solutions is seeing “significant growth” in leads, which necessitated the sales organization expansion.
