Orient Star M34 F8 Skeleton Hand Winding: Embrace the Beauty of Starlight
Orient Star has unveiled the exquisite M34 F8 Skeleton Hand Winding watch, a stunning addition to its Contemporary Collection M34. This timepiece boasts a meticulously crafted movement featuring a cutting-edge silicon escape wheel, offering an impressive 70-hour power reserve. Its modern and stylish design seamlessly transitions between business attire and casual wear, making it a versatile accessory for any occasion. The watch showcases a captivating skeleton movement adorned with intricate details that evoke the enchanting beauty of starlight in the depths of space. This elegant creation is sure to captivate watch enthusiasts and collectors alike, drawing them into its mesmerizing allure.
The Contemporary Collection M34, named after Perseus, offers Orient Star’s most diverse lineup as varied as the multiple streaks of falling meteors in the night sky. Orient Star celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2021 with the launch of a new generation of Skeleton watches combining advanced technology and aesthetics and in 2022, the M34 F8 Skeleton Hand Winding was launched. This new model is the first Skeleton in the Contemporary Collection and explores the vastness of the universe even further.
The new M34 F8 Skeleton Hand Winding combines refined quality with a relaxed feel with a design inspired by starlight illuminating in deep space. The grey skeleton movement expresses the vastness of outer space, while the new blue gradation outer ring on the dial symbolises starlight shining in darkness. The grey colour plated bezel around them further emphasises the enormity of the universe.
The fine hairline and mirror finish of the Sallaz polishing on the high-quality stainless steel (SUS316L) of the case and bracelet enhance the Contemporary Collection M34’s edgy and modern design, and combined with the dial tinted in grey, the model exudes a sophistication and style. The compact and slim case with a diameter of 39 mm and thickness of 10.8 mm and metal bracelet with short pitch H-shaped links for comfort on the wrist create a relaxed feel.
Skeletonisation in watchmaking, generally leaving just the framework of the movement and exposing the mechanisms inside, is a style unique to mechanical watches. Since the launch of the new generation model in 2021, it has become a new icon for Orient Star. The M34 F8 Skeleton Hand Winding is equipped with in-house hand winding F8B61 movement which is not only highly precise with accuracy of +15 to -5 seconds a day, but is also equipped with a silicon escape wheel*, extending the power reserve to 70 hours to provide excellent practicality. The grey plating on the baseplate and bridges of the movement, the spiral-shaped silicone escape wheel evoking images of the Milky Way, and comet-shaped balance wheel bridge all work to inextricably combine high performance with aesthetics.
M34 F8 Skeleton Hand Winding is available in a limited edition of 100 pieces. The exquisite skeleton movement is visible through the see-through sapphire crystal case back which is engraved with limited edition and serial number.
