Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie – A Stunning Mess

I am absolutely obsessed with Peanut Butter Banana Smoothies. So I am very excited to share this recipe with you today. It’s rich and not-too-sweet and makes the perfect breakfast! You can create this recipe at home in just five minutes.

Ingredients in a Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

  • Banana – Sliced and frozen.
  • Milk – Choose any type of milk you prefer. I used almond milk.
  • Peanut Butter – Creamy or crunchy, whatever you have on hand.
  • Greek Yogurt – Gives this recipe creamy texture and richer flavor.
  • Honey – For sweetness.
  • Whipped Cream – optional
  • Mini Chocolate Chips – for garnish

How to make a PB Smoothie

Combine the frozen banana, milk, peanut butter, Greek yogurt and honey.

Blend until smooth. Pour into glass.

Garnish with whipped cream, mini chocolate chips and a few banana slices. Serve with a straw and enjoy!

My favorite blender is my Vitamix blender. My favorite (more affordable) option is this Ninja blender.

Tips for Making

  • If you want to reduce the calories in your smoothie, use PB2 instead of peanut butter. It’s really good—I use it often in smoothies and chocolate desserts.
  • If you don’t like the flavor of Greek yogurt, substitute for vanilla yogurt.
  • Top with peanut butter chips for an even more perfect smoothie than mine—augh!
